Since this is a wiki, it only makes sense to link to the best known wiki of all, Wikipedia.
One site I like is the Wayback Machine. This site has been collecting views of websites since 1996. You can see sites that no longer exist, and see how sites have evolved over time, or in my case see how a site doesn't evolve.
Want to something about a movie or TV show, or about an actor? Check out IMDb.com.
Do you want to check out urban legends? Go to Snopes.com.
Do you want to find out how something works? Go to Howstuffworks.com
